Mud Bay is Washington-based pet food and supplies store with over 50 branches across the U.S. We kick-started our journey in 1988 in a tiny farm store, selling hog feed, fertilizers, and oysters. After 3 decades of hard work, we are now a well-established employee-owned company committed to the well-being of cats and dogs along with the happiness of their owners. Aside from quality food and supplements, we also offer customized nutrition plans and expert advice on how to keep pets at the peak of health.

We were looking for a solution to host documentation and processes for our growing company.

We had previously included all of our materials in an internal document dashboard that was becoming unwieldy for our needs.

Our goal was to find software that could provide a fast knowledge base solution for our employees to use and reference right away.

Our teams now have a readily-accessible platform to get all the information they need. While previously, teams used to spend unreasonable time scrolling through a document library, there is now a significant change in how employees access learning tools and resources.

Additionally, we are "pushing" information to people less frequently and instead encouraging people to explore the knowledge base to answer questions. The basic stats for article readership helps us gauge whether people are finding the information helpful.
